Yeah, but that one wasn't a gentleman! As attested by the wonderfully naughty tryst with Aphrodite, which cost them both the ridicule of all the Gods, when Hephaestus (Aphorodite's husband) caught them in a golden web on the bed!

You know, I think somebody could do a year's worth of blog posts with nothing but artistic depictions of this myth. There are dozens, maybe hundreds, of paintings of it.
