And obligingly dragged her owner across the street, so we could have some 'slutty dogtime'....

Hi, Lucy! It's always nice to hear from you. Mary, I had never seen this painting either. I was a little suspicious because of that, but I did find it credited several places as a Courbet, and it sure looks like a Courbet, so that's good enough for me. Glad you like it.
