Why does this make me think of McCain and Palin?

I don´t know, since I can´t possible imagine Palin as a temptress in any way.. But I wonder what the dog is doing there? Is it the pheromes and sexual odours from the female? :)
I really like your selection of pictures!

Thanks, stella polaris ;-)

I know what you mean about Palin. She's not my type either, but a lot of men do find her very alluring, at least on this side of the Atlantic. Something about a woman who can wield a gun and pop out babies really does it for them.

Dave and I had a debate yesterday about whether it's a dog or a pig. I guess they'd both be appropriate, wouldn't they? My vote is for pig, mostly because Rops often included pigs in his work.

You captured the nightmare feeling perfectly. I can't articulate it but you so nailed it with that picture that it left me speechless. McCain's death's head visage and creepy smile and Palin's sexy librarian thang, the juxtaposition is freaky, especially when you realize that she is basically an old white guy. Inside, she's an old white man. A redneck old white man.

A tarted-up reactionary for VP? Don't you know Marsha Blackburn is eating her heart out that it wasn't her.

Yep--redneck old white man inside, tarted up reactionary outside. What a multi-faceted human being. For those of you who aren't from Tennessee, here (*shudder*) is Marsha Blackburn:
