This was my theme song the year I finished college. (Yeah, that's right, I am that old.) The first line is especially descriptive of my life at the time. I should be embarrassed to admit that this tune still moves me, but I'm not. And I love the freakin' accordion.

How I loved The The. Funny how you can remember all the lyrics, even if you haven't heard the song for years.
And I loved seeing how Brighton looked back in the mid-80s. Funny how little, and how much, it's changed.

God, Leo, I loved that music so much. Many, many hours lolling around my ratty dorm room reading and listening to it--I don't regret a minute of it, either. I've never been to Brighton. I'd love to see it.
