Some music to get us through the week

This is the first movement of William Grant Still's Symphony No.2 in G Minor (Song of a New Race), 1936-37. It's a joyful piece of music--or at least it seems so to me. I hope you enjoy it. You can read about William Grant Still here. Thanks to BlackInformant.com for the link.

Glad you enjoyed it. He made a lot of fine music--I recommend the music to "Miss Sally's Party." You can hear a little samp of it at Amazon
