One Sentence Perfume Review: Belle En Rykiel, Sonia Rykiel

Cute and sweet, but there's something a little bit odd about this one, as if she's been constructed from salvaged parts.

Notes from Fragrancex: Mandarin, Red Currant, Lavender flowers, Heliotrope, Coffee Blossom, Frankincense, Patchouli, Amber, Vanilla, and Mahogany Wood.

Looking at those notes - something does sound a bit quirky. Heliotrope and frankincense!?

Would have liked to try! The lavender is interesting, - this kitten of you transcends standard cuteness

I agree!

I had hoped for more from this one [ SHHHH ! I'm in the minority, I know !]

Quirky, yes-
But it doesn't quite hold together, for me.
That kitten does, though ;0

Rykiel Women really pulls it all together; too bad we've all made such a lemming of her that she's getting harder to find ;(

Kitten!

Yours?

Nope, not my kitty. I wish. I'd love to have a cat again. (I better stop saying things like that, or one will land on my doorstep.)

I actually like Belle en Rykiel quite a bit, but it definitely has some deep confusion in its character. Lavender scent? Gourmand? Straight-up oriental? It just can't make up its mind...
