One Sentence Perfume Review: Lys Méditerranée, Frederic Malle Editions de Parfums



















Starts out as Jean Seberg in Breathless, winds up as Bo Derek in 10.

Notes per Basenotes: Ginger Lily, Lily of the Valley (Muguet), Angelica Root, Orange Flower, Water Lily, Musk.

    I dunno.

    Once I get past the 'easy, breezy Cover Girl' note, I like it.
    Note : I like it, but I rarely wear it.

    Thank God I bought a small bottle.

    I've read enough reviews of this one to know I am very much in the minority with my complaint. Everybody else either loves it, or says it's too linear--whereas I just adore the opening (I think it's that cover girl note I like), and then feel completely betrayed when it goes all beachy and ordinary.
