No, not mine, but one from Lee (aka Leopoldo) over at Perfume Posse. It's all about fog and the mysteries of memory--perfume has a mere cameo. This essay will make you fall in love with Lee, but scads of us already have, so be prepared to stand in line.

You know, the photographs Lee chose are by a Nashvillian, Jack Spencer. He's represented by Cumberland Gallery, and he's been involved with the local Sudanese refugees--he did a portrait series of them, and is one of the leaders of the Lost Boys Foundation, which has opened a gallery. Kay is doing a piece on the gallery in two weeks.
