One sentence perfume review: Ambre Russe, Parfum d'Empire

Image from Aedes De Venustas

Makes me think of sucking raw cake batter from the finger of a cavalry officer's well-worn glove.

Notes per NowSmellThis: champagne, vodka, amber, tea, leather, spices and incense.

  3. Oh, I hope you're kidding, Helg. Nothing could top your terrific reviews. I've decided indolence and lack of imagination prevent me from giving anything the full monty, so I'm just doing these quick teases ;-)

It's so nice to see you, Chaya. I remember you liking this one a lot. Me, I'm ambivalent. It's sort of a love-hate thing. Depends on how I'm feeling about the cavalry officer that day.

  4. That's too kinky an image for me not to feel all friskified on reading it.

    A cold shower calls.
